The Winter Season In Cyprus:

The Winter season on the island of Cyprus is from November to April. Winter is generally fairly quiet with cooler temperatures. The temperatures during the Winter months are very pleasant and range from 13-17°C (55°F – 63°F). Generally, the days are sunny but the evening can be much cooler. 

Due to the Winter months in Cyprus providing cooler temperatures, it makes it perfect for visiting major attractions. Not only that, during the Winter months, you will also experience less crowds.

During the Winter months in Cyprus, rain on the island can be expected, especially during the months of January and February.

Note: Although Cyprus is considered to be an ‘All year -round’ destination, several major holiday resorts such as Ayia napa, Pernera and Protaras close for Winter. However, the major cities such as Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia stay open, as well as the popular holiday resort of Paphos.

Some hotels in these areas now offer heated swimming pools during the Winter season.

Throughout the Winter months, major airlines do continue to offer flights to both Paphos and Larnaca airports. However, the number of flights to Cyprus throughout the week may reduce during the Winter months, due to demand.
