As we have mentioned previously on other pages, the district of Paphos has three bus stations and these are the Harbour bus station in Kato Paphos, Karavella bus station in the old town of Paphos and Polis bus station in the town centre of Polis. There are regular bus services that provide a link to both Kato Paphos tourist area and the old town and from the old town of Paphos to the many neighbouring villages and towns. Below is a brief guide to the bus stations in the Paphos district and also which areas they service and which buses depart from the bus stations.

The Main Harbour Bus Station In Paphos

The main Harbour bus station in Kato Paphos links the tourist area of Paphos to the city centre and the old town of Paphos, as well as providing a bus service link for passengers to the airport in Paphos. All the buses that run throughout the tourist area of Paphos start and terminate at the Harbour bus station in Kato Paphos.

The Main Tourist Area Buses Are: 603, 615, 611, 631

The 610 bus runs to the old town.

618 runs to Karavella bus station.

The Paphos Airport Bus 612 departs from the Harbour bus station.

Karavella Bus Station In Paphos

The Karavella bus station is situated in the old town of Paphos on Andrea Geroudi Street and this is where all the bus services to the surrounding villages depart from, as well as buses to popular destinations such as Larnaca, Latchi (Latsi), Limassol, Nicosia, Polis and Famagusta.

If you are staying in the tourist area of Paphos and wish to take the bus to any of the destinations mentioned above, you will first need to catch the bus from the tourist area of Paphos up to the Karavella bus station in the old town and then catch the appropriate bus service to your required destination.

The 645 bus runs to Polis and Latchi (Latsi).

Opening Hours Of The Karavella Bus Station: 06.00am – 18.00 Monday to Friday and 06.00am – 13.00 on Saturday.

Polis Bus Station

Polis bus station is located in the centre of the town in the Polis Chrysochou Area. The bus station in Polis provides bus links from the villages surrounding Polis to Paphos Karavella bus station. It also provides a bus link to the popular attraction of Aphrodite’s Baths.

Bus From Paphos Harbour To Coral Bay

Bus number 615 runs every 10 minutes throughout the day from Paphos Harbour to Coral Bay and from Coral Bay to Paphos Harbour. The 615 bus to Coral bay is a great way to travel from Paphos to Coral Bay and offers access for the many hotels and apartments that are located on the road to Coral Bay.

The 615 bus also stops outside the Tombs Of The Kings.

Bus To Paphos Waterpark

If you wish to visit the Paphos Water Park, you can take bus number 611 which runs from the Harbour to the Water Park and also stops at various places along the way including Geroskipou Beach.

Bus To the Municipal Market In Paphos

If you intend visiting the Municipal Market in the old town of Paphos, you can catch bus number 610. The 610 bus runs from Paphos Harbour Bus Station every 10 minutes throughout the day and then every 30 minutes at night. Although the 610 bus stops outside the Municipal Market, you could also catch one of the other buses to the Karavella bus station in the old town and walk on to the Municipal Market if you wished. 

Bus From Paphos To Episkopi

The 609 bus service runs from the Karavella bus station in the old town of Paphos to Episkopi but the services are limited and only run 4 times during the day throughout the week and 2 services at the weekend. 

Paphos Harbour To Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodites Rock)

The Petra tou Romiou or Aphrodites Rock as it is commonly known, is one of the most popular landmarks in Cyprus and as a result, is visitied by many tourists. If you are wishing to visit the Petra tou Romiou, you can catch a bus from Paphos Harbour to Petra tou Romiou and the number is 631.

Polis And Latchi (Latsi) Bus

If you wish to take the bus from Paphos to Polis, then you will need to catch the 645 bus from Karavella bus station. 

Paphos To Aphrodite’s Baths By Bus

First you will need to take the 645 bus from Paphos Karavella station to and then change buses at Polis. From Polis To Aphrodite’s Baths you will need to catch the 622 Bus from Polis To Aphrodite’s Bath.
